Wave 29 for FY 2009 will be released on Tuesday.  The Priority 2 funding threshold for FY 2009 is still at 85% (with funding being denied at 54% and below).  Wave 73 for FY 2008 will be released on Wednesday. more…
» Responses to the FCC's Request for E-Rate Comments
Over 30 initial responses to the FCC’s broad request for comments on broadband, education, and E-rate were submitted last week.  For the most part, the comments supported maintaining E-rate in its current form, albeit stressing the need for additional funding.  The FCC issued a news release last week discussing broader challenges to the Universal Service Fund. more…
