E-Rate Modernization Webinar For New York State Applicants

E-Rate Modernization Changes Presentation  E-Rate Central Webinar Slides

The FCC’s first E-rate Modernization Order (FCC 14-99), released July 23rd, contains a number of changes that will affect New York applicants and service providers.  A written summary of the Order appeared in our New York E-rate newsletter of July 28, 2014.

This webinar, conducted by E-Rate Central and sponsored by the New York State Education Department, is designed to provide a preliminary overview of the Order.  Please understand that the Order has already generated a number of questions, and that additional orders, changes, and clarifications are expected to be released by the FCC and/or USAC later in the year.

Additional information as it becomes available will be reported in our New York E-rate newsletter, will be covered in our annual regional training workshops to be scheduled in November and December, and will be highlighted on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
