CIPA Filtering: Federal vs. Local Control
The State E-Rate Coordinators’ Alliance filed reply comments in the FCC’s current CIPA proceeding noting, with concern, a recent USAC audit decision indicating that a district’s failure to block access to social networking sites was a CIPA violation. This decision appears to conflict with the CIPA’s local determination rules. read more
