Applicants and service providers should review this list carefully. Items featured in bold text reflect changes made to the list since October 12, 2000.

Of special note are the following:

• Video equipment. Equipment necessary to transmit video to the classroom or library room is eligible for discounts. End-user video equipment (for example, TV monitors, cameras, and VCRs) is not eligible.

• Modems. Modems are ineligible only when installed in or supporting end-user equipment; modems in eligible equipment are eligible.

• Internet telephony. Components of Internal Connections that transform voice to Internet protocol for the purpose of voice-over Internet telephony are not eligible.
