National Funding Update
With each wave of Funding Commitment Decisions Letters, the Schools and Libraries Division will track commitments made to date on a national scale.  This data is inclusive of Wave 10.

To review this information, simply choose the chart that interests you.

  • Quick Facts - National - A quick view of the amount of funds committed and number of applications funded.

  • Applicant Type - A breakout of the different applicant types - schools, school districts, libraries/library systems, and consortia.

  • Discount Band - A view of how the discounts were allocated based on the level of discount, for example, 90%, 80%, 70%.

  • Rural vs. Urban - A comparison between the discounts that were committed to rural applicants vs. urban applicants.

The Internal Connections Funding amount for the 60- 69% discount band in this chart reflects funding only for those applications qualifying for a 65-69% discount level.

1 The rural/urban designation is linked to the location only of the entity filing the application.   Requests for discounts which include more than one school or library may feature a mixture of rural and urban entities.

2 The N/A (not available) designation related to entities filing on behalf of others.  Because these applicants are not actual recipients of listed services, information about their urban/rural status ahs not been collected.

3 Because this wave includes responses to some applicants who filed more than one application, the sum of applications featured here may be different from the corresponding list of recipients, where SLD funding commitments are consolidated by applicant.
